Course Content & Methodology

His “Most Complete #RUBBERDAMOLOGY Course” is noted for its extreme visual detail and technical depth:

• Cinematic Quality: He is described as a professional documentary cameraman in the dental field, filming procedures in 8K resolution with macro lenses to show minute details of clamp placement and dam inversion.
• Technical Focus: Unlike courses that focus only on simple “recipes,” Apokin’s material covers:
  • Morphology: How specific tooth shapes (e.g., lower jaw molars vs. upper premolars) dictate clamp choice.
  • Complex Scenarios: Protocols for Deep Margin Elevation (DME), Class V restorations, and “Split Dam” techniques.¹⁰
  • Equipment Mastery: Deep dives into clamp contact points, jaw design, and the use of floss ligatures.

Clinical Philosophy

Apokin emphasizes that isolation is a fundamental discipline rather than just a preparation step.¹⁴ He focuses heavily on the “Bonding Concept” (often using the hashtag #RSBC) and promotes the idea that high-quality documentation (photography/video) is essential for clinical self-improvement.¹⁵+1
